These included a coronal mass ejection (cover image) which I traced magnetic field lines through; the interior of the sun and its vortices and rolling waves of magnetism which also had tracer lines; the formation of a sunspot from near-surface solar convection; a blast of solar plasma hitting Earth’s magnetosphere; and a simulation of early stars growing and dying.
